Richard Henson

Cost-effective Cyber Security and moving towards Resilience

1pm – 1.20pm

Seminar Description

All SMEs are IT companies now! IT includes cyber security. They must accept the responsibility, but should not expect to do it all by themselves. Richard will provide practical tips for SMEs seeking ways to cost-effectively use their existing staff, IT partners and technology to improve their Cyber Security and move towards System Resilience. The new legislation moving through Parliament is placing an increased focus on MSPs/IT providers to provide more comprehensive packages. This is a wise, but overdue move which will automatically raise their game. In turn, SMEs should have higher expectations of their IT Guy(s) to be knowledgeable on cost-effective cyber security. This will of course give the Cybersavvy IT Guys competitive advantage. Is that a bad thing?
